You paste a screenshot into a chat, then notice the API key in it. You crop, retake, paste again.

And the text you copied ten minutes ago? Gone, replaced by whatever you copied next.

I kept running into this while working with AI tools, so I built Bronze.

Bronze is a clipboard history and a screenshot editor, one shortcut away in any app.

Press ⌥ ⌘ V anywhere and a panel opens with everything you copied. Click a text and it's pasted right into the app you were using. Click elsewhere and the panel hides again.

Take a screenshot as usual with ⇧ ⌘ 4 and an editor opens on top. Drag over text inside the picture to copy it, in English and Russian. Draw with the pen, add arrows and boxes, or hide secrets. Every change is copied for you, and you can drag the image into any chat.

Copied text is kept for 24 hours and screenshots for 7 days. Pin what matters and it stays until you delete it.

No account, no cloud, and no tracking in the app. Copies from password managers are never saved. Everything stays on your Mac.

Bronze is free.

Version 1.2.4, macOS 26 or later.

Runs on Apple silicon and Intel. Signed and notarized by Apple, and it updates itself.

Bronze needs Accessibility access to paste into the app you were using.
